A couple of years ago, I attempted to grow herbs. I had several of them in pots. I was successful, for a while. Except that I really had no idea what to do with them and I'm honestly useless when it comes to any long-term plant care, (or short-term...). They did have my porch smelling nice, though I don't think my husband cared for my plan to lure all the neighborhood cats to our door with a planter full of catnip.
