In January, I read Katherine Center's "Things You Save in a Fire". This was the first time I had come across a female firefighter in fiction and I realized between this and Jenny Colgan's "500 miles to you", I hadn't read too much where the main characters were first responders, but I do tend to watch shows like Chicago Fire and 911. Here is some of what I have found in our catalog.
