Christmas Cookies

 

It's getting to be that time of year when you pull out the recipe book/box, full of ambition, holiday spirit, and optimism, as you embark on a holiday baking extravaganza. It starts with the list of favorites at my house this means thumbprints, gingersnaps, my grandmother's sliced cookies, and what will seem like 5.000 chocolate chips.
