Feasts of Fiction

One of the many ways books and movies can inspire people is through food.  Cozy mysteries for instance, quite often involve gastronomical delights within the stories and include different recipes at the end.  It's so much a part of cozies that it's led to the publication of Cozy Cookbooks.

I'll admit that some things don't automatically inspire thoughts about epicurean delights.  For instance, when I think of the movie "Mean Girls" I personally, have never considered how food or drinks could relate to it.  Fortunately, Jonathan Bennett, has.  Thus leading to a cookbook that's "totally fetch!"

Even though cooking is not my strong point, I do enjoy perusing cookbooks.  The Feast of Fiction Kitchen: Recipes Inspired by TV, Movies, Games & Books by Wong, Jimmy though, got me excited to test a recipe.  The "Home Alone" inspired "Pizza Mac and Cheese" got raving reviews from all my kids.
